Dental P2 Fact Sheets

A Pollution Prevention Perspective

In 2004 and 2005 the project team mailed, FAXed, and hand-delivered surveys that asked questions about dental chemicals. Over 100 dental practices in the San Francisco Bay Area chose to participate in the project, for a response rate of about 25%.

Results of these surveys appear in the following factsheets, together with suggestions about management techniques that dental offices may use to reduce their chemical use.
