In 1997, The Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange (P2Rx), a consortium of eight regional pollution prevention information centers, was established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with the aim to improve the dissemination of pollution prevention information in the service provider community. In addition, each regional center provides networking opportunities and other services to States, local governments and technical assistance providers within its region. The centers represent a broad constituency, including state and local pollution prevention programs, manufacturing extension partnerships, small business development centers, cooperative extension services and not-for-profit organizations. One of the primary services provided by the P2Rx to the P2 community is the availability of pertinent, up to date information of over 40 Topic Hub sectors. These Topic Hubs are web-based guides to peer-reviewed pollution prevention information and expertise on a particular subject. WRPPN has developed topic hubs for E-waste, Auto repair, and Hospitality, and aims to develop a Green Business Programs Topic Hub for FY 2004. So if you are looking for quality pollution prevention information on any given topic, please take a look at the P2Rx’s impressive Topic Hub collection. We may have the information that you have been looking for! For further information about the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, |
